Competition
Today I went to Hoover High School to compete. At the competition my age group was child. I don't think I should be in child because I'm 10 years old. I ended up falling off the beam on a full turn. I did not feel good when I fell off the beam. The medal arrangements were horrible. Everybody was saying this and that at the same time and we were like where do we go what do we do now? I ended up getting tied for 1st on vault, 1st bars, 5th beam, 1st floor, and finally, 1st all-around. Our team was the prep-op 3 winner. And since I got the highest all-around score out of everybody, I got to take home the trophy. Which was a lot heavier than it looks. So I did great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteCongrats, Emmy! I'm glad you've got your confidence back!
ReplyDeleteEmmy, the other day we were playing at the park and there was a wooden rail in the ground on the edge of the playground, about the size of a balance beam. Rachel started walking on it and doing dancy moves with her arms and little kicks and twisting her hips- When I asked her what she was doing she said that she was dong gymnastics like her cousin Emily! ( I have shown her your videos before) You definitely have a lot of fans! Congratulations on your hard work and great job!
